Yes all Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach Vehicles are equipped with seatbelts.
No we are not licensed to carry standing passengers all passengers must be in a seat with their seat belt on.
As a seat belt is provided you are required by law to wear one.
Children less than 1 year old can be held on the lap of someone 16 years or older. Children more than 1 year old and less than 7 years old can be restrained using a seat belt (but must not sit in the front seat if the vehicle has 2 or more rows of seats). You will need to apply via the Queensland Transport website – once approved you will receive a letter from the Queensland department of transport.

If your child’s bus is running late due to traffic you will receive a text message notification from Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach.
In the instances of heavy rain / flooding, Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach conduct a site inspection before sending the school run service out. Families are communicated to via text message if there are any road closures and we are unable to complete our school run service.

We arrange for your guests to be picked up predominantly in bus zones/ stops that are close to their points of accommodation. We are mindful of the safest spot to stop a bus but also for your guests to wait / be dropped back to.
No, Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach do not require a passenger list. We do ask that you nominate one person to be a bus attendant – they will be the main point of contact for your driver and will manage your guest list for you.
