In 2006 Scott and Catherine Isaacs bought Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach. With a young family at the time they were wanting to find a way to be a part of their local community.
With Scott already having over 20 years experience in the Industry with repairs and manufacturing coupled with Catherine’s strong sales and marketing experience they felt it was a business they could passionately work in and grow.
At the time the business had 3 vehicles that serviced their Government contracts and a small charter service.
Fast forward to 2024 Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach has a growing fleet, team and customer base. With now 9 vehicles servicing our Government contracts, our local school community, as well as having the capacity to cater for a strong charter and day tour market.
Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach has had the opportunity to work on many large events in South East Queensland including:
In this time we have also aptly named new vehicles that have joined our fleet to those staff that have dedicated a lot of time to building our family business with us :
We are proud to be Supporters of Do It for Dolly for the past five years. Our drivers wear Dolly’s Dream caps and help to spread the message to all of our passengers we carry on that day . We have the potientail to reach up to 700 school children.
In 2023 we were awarded an Active Tourism Grant by the Queensland Government which contributed to the first Wheel chair lift being installed in our fleet. The lift was installed by our preferred repairers Royans Coachwork
Aloha Friday is a concept we introduced to our team in 2024. The concept coming from of course Hawaii where they Hawiaans unofficialy have Aloha Friday and where their more traditional dress to work – it was thought this might be a fund concept to bring to Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach too. With specially designed Hawaiian Shirts the team love to get into the Aloha spirit on a Friday – our passengers enjoy the fun too !
Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach are showing no signs of slowing down. We are continually looking for ways to improve our fleet, upskill our team in our way to better service our community.
