The past couple of months have seen our coaches transporting school and sport charters, corporate groups and Senior and Leisure group tours – covering many locations in our local region and South East Queensland!

Our local school children have embraced our fantastic sporting facilities with weekly sports charters to Firth Park Netball, Mallawa Drive Soccer; Nielsen’s Road AFL and KDV Tennis centre (to name a few). We were also privileged to charter many of the talented students to the Oceanic District Cross Country carnival held at Pizzey Park in May and from here those successful runners to the Regional competition at the Sports Super Centre just this week. Amongst our school charters we have had children visiting our local universities – Bond and Griffith University as well as local sites such as Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Excursions and Brisbane eisteddfods have seen us visit Queensland Parliament House; University of Queensland; QPAC and Eureka Gold Rush at Belivah.

We have been taking many excited children on camps. We recently took a Group of Year 6 Students to Total Adventures School Camp on the Noosa North Shore which meant a nice ride on the barge for our bus and passengers!

Away from the school charter we have also been working with corporate groups coming to the Gold Coast with charters between Coolangatta Airport to Gold Coast hotels and to the Star Casino.

The Coolangatta Swim Classic was held on Sunday 13 May from Duranbah to Kirra and Currumbin Valley Coaches provided the shuttle service for the competitors. It was a stunning day on the Gold Coast and perfect conditions for an Ocean Swim, which made for happy and excited passengers!

We worked with over 20 Senior and Leisure groups throughout the month of May. These tours kept our 48 and 57 passenger luxury coaches very busy. We took groups through the South-East and Northern NSW regions. Groups went to Ipswich Rail Museum; Maleny;Mt Tamborine; Boonah; Harwood and Yamba. We work closely with the group co-ordinators to ensure the group see the main sites of the town, have a lovely morning tea – provided by local Bakery – Fuel Bakehouse and often visit a local establishment for a great meal. Once on tour our Coach Captains provide fantastic commentary – you only need to sit back and enjoy the sites! June will see the groups set off on more adventures and we are also in the midst of developing new day tour options.

We have had a great couple of months working with our schools and groups on these charters – we are looking forward to our next adventures !
