Winter Harvest Festival – Saturday 28 June 2025

Come along on Saturday 28 June, 2025, for a delightful day at the Winter Harvest Festival in the charming country town of Kalbar.

As the grand finale of Eat Local Month, this festival offers a feast for the senses with over 60 market stalls featuring fresh local produce, beer, and wine from the Scenic Rim.

Enjoy live cooking demonstrations and experience the excitement of the World Famous Tractor Pull!

We’ll begin our journey westward in the morning, aiming to arrive at the festival by 10 AM. Once there, the day is yours to explore—wander through the markets, savor delicious flavours, and soak in the atmosphere.

After a fantastic day filled with exploration, shopping, and warm country hospitality, we’ll depart at 3 PM to head back to the Coast.

Do your vehicles have seat belts?

Yes all Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach Vehicles are equipped with seatbelts.

Do you allow for standing passengers ?

No we are not licensed to carry standing passengers all passengers must be in a seat with their seat belt on.

Do I need to wear a seat belt on a bus ?

As a seat belt is provided you are required by law to wear one.

Can my child sit on my lap ?

Children less than 1 year old can be held on the lap of someone 16 years or older. Children more than 1 year old and less than 7 years old can be restrained using a seat belt (but must not sit in the front seat if the vehicle has 2 or more rows of seats). How do I register by child on the Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach School Bus?

You will need to apply via the Queensland Transport website – once approved you will receive a letter from the Queensland department of transport.
